SHRISTI
The “Society for Women’s Empowerment & Sustainability – SHRISTI” is a nongovernmental NGO in Nepal that empowers women, children, and marginalized communities to build a peaceful, equitable, and sustainable society. Registered in Kathmandu and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, SHRISTI focuses on socio-economic, educational, health, and livelihood programs. Key activities include sensitization campaigns, training, networking, research, and advocacy to influence policies and ensure human rights, addressing social protection, economic opportunities, human trafficking, child labor, environmental preservation, and gender-based violence.
SHRISTI has conducted training for disabled women, girl children’s programs, clothes and relief distribution, health camps, domestic violence awareness, earthquake relief, human rights events, SDG workshops, and bakery training. These efforts highlight SHRISTI’s dedication to empowering marginalized communities and promoting sustainable development.
